'Twas The Week Before Christmas

We engaged in all out war over kitchen cabinet rights, and although we eventually emerged victorious, we aren't sure we had the "last laugh" as the only casualty had to be shaken out of Jason's shoe...after he tried to put it on.

Aren't you glad it wasn't your shoe?

gotta love the excitement of man v. mouse. Those little guys are fighters. Glad you won.

Ady, A friend challenged that we post the story in one sentence. This was the best I could do. And Sharon--beyond glad! Jason survived one of my worst nightmares...but he was traumatized.

ick!! Hopefully you haven't had to catch any from our place while away. But glad you won - a sweet victory it is.

Was the mouse in his shoe alive or dead? I am sure Renae can relate with mice and snakes!! Hope you had a great Christmas. Glad you are feeling better!

We are having mice issues as well...I told Mike if I see any more mouse poop in my house, we're gonna have to move. Now I have to add "putting on shoes" to my list of things I'm afraid of, along w/ going in the storage room and looking under the sink....

Thanks a lot! I now will have to check my shoes before I put them on...we have had mice issues too. I hate mice!

This means that you and Jason together now have the worse two rodent stories I've ever heard (with your stepping on rat remnants in the street). Oh it makes me sick just thinking of it.

You don't know how good it made me feel to see that you did it in one sentence. The story really does creep me out. Oh, so so sick.

YIKES! That sort of validates my fear of spiders hiding in my shoes, especially if I haven't worn them in a while.
