We spent Valentine's Day (plus a few) at the beach.
We missed Jason but loved the breeze and warm sun on our skin t-shirts. As badly as I want to be brown, we aren't messing with sun damage.

Stella and Anton were deliriously happy--seagulls, playgrounds, digging toys, special snacks, beach chairs, sand castles and wave jumping.

Thanks to everyone who encouraged us to go. The fun to travel-hassle ratio was worth it.

When Eliot was just over 1, we headed to St. Maarten alone since Bryan had to cancel last minute. Hassle to fun ratio was tilted to fun, but the beach is a bit easier with 2 adults. Good for you! glad you had fun.
ashley...i remember that trip! i should have mentioned that this adventure was with grandparents (lest i try to sound like a superhero).
