on monday, jason and i went to costco with matt while poor sister worked into the night. we only "needed" paper towels but as we roamed the aisles, mostly keeping matt company (wink. wink), we fell victim to the "spend to save" philosophy that makes buying in bulk dangerously appealing...mango/peach salsa, pacific tomato soup, ribs, honey-wheat pretzels. when i picked up the three pack of boursin, jason rolled his eyes and jokingly swore it would be gone by next week. "no way" i vowed, "its good until mid december and i'm relishing this." i think i have so much will power.
tonight after a trying day at work, as i finished off the first package, i realized how well jason knows me. if you've tried this cheese, you're probably nodding your head in understanding.

related to the boursin incident, one would never know from the way i've been gobbling down my stress that in one week i'll be on this beach at my cousin adam's wedding. i'll be the one hiding in the flowiest dress i can find (in my sister's closet).

Woah, is Adam getting married? Crazy. Tell him I said good luck. How are Lynn and Hope dealing with it? Too bad we didn't get to see you guys when you were here. When are you coming back again? I read the article about Harleman halls--cute erica--climbing through a window?...sound just like you...he he! love your guts!

Love the luxuries that stressful days sometimes bring. Good for you for enjoying. And you'll look wonderful, whatever dress you decide to wear. Enjoy the break!

We love Costco too! And the cheese there and everything else. We have never left the store under $150- no matter what we go in for.

The flowiest dress you can find. That's funny, because it's from your sister's closet and you just told me the story of her asking for a dress from your fat days. Out of context that sounds bad. Noelle--you are VERY trim. You look excellent. Have fun on the beach.

I am reading a cheesy teenage book that is slash twilight and gossip girls and it is introducing the posh prep school and says its next to Dalton. I'm not sure I fully appreciated the caliber of the fanciness, despite the lobster. (and I would never have admitted to reading this book if not for the Dalton shout out.)
